Consultant firm information has not been determined. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The City of Columbia, Tennessee, an Equal Opportunity, Affirmative Action Employer, seeks to use local and state funds to retain the services of a professional consultant firm or team of firms to provide services related to the Columbia Historic Districts Inventory. The project is to update and/or create architectural surveys for the City of Columbia Historic Districts in addition to areas within the National Register. A detailed Request for Qualification is attached and any questions may be addressed to the Development Services Department at (931) 560-1560. The City of Columbia is accepting statements of qualifications for updated and new survey of Columbia's Historic Districts. This submittal is for consultant qualifications only. Do not provide fees for this project. The City of Columbia may develop a short list from the submittals and selected consultants will be invited for a presentation and interview. It is anticipated that a contract will be negotiated with the selected firm. The City of Columbia is seeking qualified consultants or team of consultants to update the City of Columbia's Historic Districts structure inventory. The existing survey has not been revised since the 1980's and additional districts have been created. The total districts comprise of approximately 345 properties in which 231 of these are in the National Register of Historic Places District. The qualifications shall indicate the content needed to meet the evaluation criteria, which is available on the City's website and/or through Robert Archibald rarchibald@columbiatn.com. The City will evaluate the statements for those submitting qualifications and may choose one or more firms who would make viable candidates from which to invite proposals and/or presentations. Responding firms must meet the Department of Interior professional qualification criteria at 36 CFR 61. The factors that will be considered in evaluation of proposals are: A. Experience and technical competence of consultant. B. Project staff availability for this project. C. Familiarity with proposed scope of work and project area. D. Record of Success on similar projects, examples of similar work. E. Client references for similar projects.
