Compass Construction Resources Ltd. has been contracted by UHT-SJHC as Construction Managers. This project includes extensive demolition and removal of an existing decommissioned and abandoned AHU, exhaust fans, and associated ductwork, piping, wiring and controls in the Level 8 Penthouse. Provision of craning services or an exterior lift is required, due to lack of elevator access to the Level 8 Penthouse, to remove the existing equipment and to deliver the new AHU and construction material. Dismantlement of abandoned existing equipment to be required for removal. Installation of the new AHU (Pre-purchased) and associated piping, ductwork, electrical, fire alarm connections and controls. Structural and architectural work associated with installation of the new AHU, including but not limited to louvres, cladding, housekeeping pads, curbs and new exterior duct shafts. Interconnection of the new AHU with the existing AHU-SCS-GW-2 located in the same 8G penthouse to provide required system redundancy. Controls are to be upgraded to incorporate the AHU interconnected operation. Seismic restraint provisions for the new mechanical equipment. Asbestos abatement in the 8G penthouse, existing shafts and insulation of existing ductwork and piping. In addition, a hazardous materials assessment of the site will be provided as part of the project documentation. Scope of work includes, but is not limited to: Selective Demolition, Cast-In-Place Concrete, Masonry, Metal Fabrication, Thermal & Moisture, Prefinished Metal Panel System, Mechanical Plumbing, HVAC & BAS, Electrical & Electronic Safety & Security.
