Engineering On-call Corrosion Protection Services. Question Deadline 07/20/2028 at 12:00 PM PT. Project Description The District requires specialized corrosion protection services during the design and construction of Capital Improvement Projects, and in support of ongoing operation and maintenance of the system. This RFQ is for on-call corrosion protection services to conduct onsite field tests and evaluations for existing and new utility infrastructure as needed. Field tests may include close-interval surveys, ACVG surveys, continuity testing, cathodic protection system assessment (including both sacrificial and impressed current systems), infrastructure corrosion evaluation and assessment, and material failure analysis. Task order scope may also include providing recommendations and design of corrosion protection on existing and new infrastructure, as well as inspection of protective coatings and linings. District infrastructure assets that may be included under the scope of services include o Storage tanks and associated structures o Sewer and water pump stations o Buried and above-ground pipelines o Reservoir inlet and outlet structures o Well casings (groundwater supply and monitoring wells) o Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) Facilities Scope of Services Corrosion services shall be requested on an on-call, as-needed basis for various District infrastructure assets. Detailed descriptions for potential services are described as follows. The services sought are typically outside the areas of expertise of the District's Engineering Department, but generally needed for performing capital improvements and maintenance work associated with a water/wastewater utility. The successful Consultants will perform all work under a Master Services Agreement Agreement or MSA when authorized by a scope-specific Task Order as further described herein. It is anticipated that the District will continue to issue Task Orders to complete work under this project for approximately ten (10) years. The District reserves the right to reject any or all SOQs and to contract for services in whatever manner that most benefits District. By submitting an SOQ, Consultants acknowledge that the District intends to contract with multiple Consultants for services, and that the District will select the Consultants to perform work based on project-specific criteria.
