Site work and paving for a road / highway in Delano, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The work shall consist of Asphalt Concrete overlay, but not limited to cold plane, deep patch, installation of traffic striping, pavement markers and markings, and other miscellaneous improvements and appurtenances. Engineers' Estimate Range: $1,100,000.00 to $1,250,000.00 The City plans to issue Notice to Proceed by July 2024. The project shall be substantially completed within 90 Calendar days. The successful bidder, simultaneously with the execution of the Agreement, shall furnish a payment bond and a performance bond each in an amount equal to 100 percent of the contract amount. Contract Documents and must be accompanied by cash, a cashier's check, a certified check, or a bidder's bond executed by an admitted surety insurer or substitute pursuant to Section 995.710 of the Code of Civil Procedure, in an amount not less than 10% of the amount of the bid, made payable to the order of or for the benefit of the City. The DBE Contract goal is 20.00 % The City of Delano reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in any bid received not affected by law. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
