Renovation of a laboratory facility in Honolulu, Hawaii. Completed plans call for the renovation of a laboratory facility.
The project shall in general consist of but is not limited to deconstruction of the existing Cottage D, as well as building repairs and improvements to the site. The project shall include deconstruction, site work, septic system connection, retaining walls, concrete and masonry work, carpentry, casework, handrails, roofing, fall protection anchors, traffic coating, sheet metal flashing, gutters, downspouts, composite wood decking, doors and windows, glazing, louvers, gypsum board, sealants, flooring, painting, toilet accessories, signage, fire extinguishers, laboratory fittings and fixtures, plumbing, ductwork, air conditioning and ventilation, electrical work, lighting, telecommunications, central vacuum system installation, and the treatment/removal of hazardous materials and miscellaneous related work as shown on the Plans and Specifications. Requests for substitutions regarding the IFB and its requirements, must be submitted to the Technical Representative of the Procurement Officer (TRPO), Carol Ogata via E-mail at carolo@hawaii.edu, no later than December 22, 2023. In accordance with Section 103D-323, Hawaii Revised Statutes, this proposal is accompanied with a bid security in the amount of 5% of the total amount proposed.
