Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Centre, Alabama. Completed plans call for the construction of a 6,882-square-foot water / sewer project.
Construction of a 12' x 24' block building, connection of new building to the existing treatment plant building, installation of new electrical equipment for the operation of the water treatment plant, removal of existing electrical cabinets, and related appurtenances. Owner requires the Project to be completed in 180 calendar days Bidders will be required to provide Bid security according to the requirements in Document 002113 - Instructions to Bidders and Document 003100 - Available Project Information. Refer to other Bidding requirements as described in Document 002113 - Instructions to Bidders and Document 003100 - Available Project Information. Submit Bids on the Bid Form provided. Bidders are required to submit the bid form and the bid bond at the time of the bid. Commodities (Supplies) MBE 4% WBE 11% Contractual (Services) MBE 8% WBE 30% Equipment MBE 5% WBE 20% Construction MBE 2.5% WBE 3% Bidders are asked not to submit the full contract documents and specifications book at the time of the bid. Bidders must carry the proper construction classification as listed in the roster of the Alabama State Licensing Board for General Contractors to be considered for the award of the project. Bids will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 60 calendar days after submission. Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to accept or reject any or all Bids.
