Remodeling of a municipal facility in Urbana, Illinois. Completed plans call for the remodel of a municipal facility.

The City of Urbana is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide Architectual and Engineering services for programmatic review, planning, designing, bidding and construction administration/observation phases of the Public Works Campus remodel. The general scope of work will include identifying programmatic needs and completing design/construction to remodel an existing storage building into a modern fleet facility, remodel the existing public works headquarters to better suit our needs, rehabilitate the existing arbor shop to be utilized by LRC staff, and review/improve site operations/conditions at Public Works Campus. In addition to the Landscape Recycling Center (LRC), Urbana Public Works utilizes four (4) other facilities to support its functions. Three (3) of these facilities are located on South Glover Avenue on adjacent properties and one (1) is located at 901 N. Smith Road that supports our Arbor and Landscape Sections. The intent of this project is to consolidate our operations, other than the LRC, to a single Public Works Campus located on South Glover Avenue. The City of Urbana reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, or any part therof, and to waive any technicalities or informalities deemed to be in the best interests of the City. Any such decision shall be considered final. Question Deadline 12/29/2023 at 5:00 PM CT The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
