The City of Brentwood is seeking proposals from consultants to prepare a business plan for the Sand Creek Sports Complex, which is currently in design. The City of Brentwood ("City") invites qualified firms to submit a proposal for the development of a business plan for its upcoming Sand Creek Sports Complex project ("Project"). The Project will be located on approximately 33 acres on the northwest corner of Sand Creek Road and Fairview Avenue and will be developed in two separate phases. Phase I consists of 14.48 acres of City-owned property and will include 3 full-size lit artificial turf sports fields, parking lot, restroom/staff/storage building, picnic areas and other possible park amenities like multi-use sport courts, outdoor exercise equipment, playground, shade elements, etc. Phase 1 will be developed in two phases, Phase A and Phase B. Phase A will include the construction of the artificial turf sports fields, parking lot, restroom/staff/storage building, and food truck area. Phase B will consist of multi-use sport courts, picnic areas, expansion of paved parking area, additional restroom building, playground, pump track, and other amenities. The City is soliciting a business plan for Phase A only at this time. Phase II will be made up of the Contra Costa County Flood Control detention basin, which consists of 19.24 acres that will potentially add 2 additional natural turf sports fields. The timeframe for construction of Phase 2 has not yet been determined.
