Site work and paving for a civil project in Joliet, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Goodenow Grove Access Road Culvert Replacement . This project consists of replacing-in-kind the existing 35" long 72"x 48" arch (60" equivalent round size) corrugated metal pipe under an 8" thick HMA access road at Goodenow Grove Nature Preserve near Crete, Illinois. Work includes installing new 76"x48" arch (60" equivalent round size) corrugated metal pipe/ end section behind the to-remain-in-place upstream headwall, backfilling with trench backfill/concrete collars, replacing HMA roadway/aggregate shoulders, stabilizing downstream side slope/outlet pool with virgin riprap, traffic control, dewatering/sediment-erosion control, and all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the project as shown on the plans and special provisions. Bids must be submitted in accordance with the Contract Documents. Bids shall be accompanied by the proper bid security. The FOREST PRESERVE DISTRICT OF WILL COUNTY reserves the right to accept any bid or any part or parts or combinations thereof, to waive any informalities or irregularities, and to reject any or all bids.
