The School District of Greenville County (District) invites interested firms to submit a SEALED BID for an LED Lighting Upgrade Program at JL Mann High School located at 160 Fairforest Way, Greenville, South Carolina 29607, in accordance with the specifications, drawings, and terms and conditions of this solicitation. This solicitation does not commit the District to award a contract, to pay any costs incurred in the preparation of the response to this solicitation or to procure any goods or services. Bidders shall submit Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Base Bid. The Bid Security must be in the form of a Bid Bond or Cashiers Check payable to The School District of Greenville County. No personal checks, company checks, or cash will be accepted. Bid Security shall be submitted with the bid or the bid will be considered nonresponsive and not subject to an award. Prior to work commencing, the successful Prime Contractor(s) shall provide the SDGC Facilities Department Project Manager with Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds, each in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the awarded contract cost.
