The City of Greenville is requesting sealed bids from qualified contractors for the interior cleaning and pressure washing of multiple city-owned parking garages. Interior cleaning and pressure washing will take place in the Richardson Street Parking Garage and the Commons Parking Garage. The RiverPlace Parking Garage will require interior cleaning, pressure washing, and restriping. Questions regarding the bid may be sent to jmonroe@greenvillesc.gov. Question Deadline 12/19/2023 at 2:00 PM ET Bidders shall submit A BID BOND IN THE AMOUNT OF FIVE PERCENT (5%) OF QUOTED TOTAL BID PRICE with their bids. This bond may be in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or a bid bond from a surety and shall be made payable to the City of Greenville, South Carolina. Bids submitted without being accompanied by any of the foregoing shall be considered non-responsive and will be rejected. The bond will be forfeited to the City by the successful bidder as liquidated damages in case a bid award is made to that bidder and the contract and performance bond and/or payment bond are not promptly and properly executed as stated below. City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive technicalities and informalities in bids, and to accept, in whole or in part, such bid (s) where the City deems it advisable or necessary to protect the best interests of the City. M/WBE GOALS AND BID REQUIREMENTS City believes it is in the community's best interest to assist minority- and women-owned business enterprises (M/WBEs) to develop fully, in furtherance of the City's policies and programs which are designed to promote balanced economic and community growth. City adopts the State of South Carolina's goal for participation of M/WBEs: 10% of annual controllable procurement expenditures, which are defined as agreements between the City and its contractors to provide or procure labor, materials, equipment, supplies, and services to, for, or on behalf of the City.
