Refuse Collection A certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Pottsville or satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and acceptable surety, in the amount equal to 10% of the total bid shall be submitted with the bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance bond in the amount of 10% of the contract price with a corporate surety approved by the City, All bidders must complete the Qualification Form. The lowest qualified bidder will be selected, The City reserves the unqualified right to waive any informalities or reject any and all bids or to reject any and all items or portions thereof. The City of Pottsville is seeking bids from qualified entities for refuse, recycled material and bulk material collection in the City of Pottsville for 3- and 5-year periods The actual items of Work to be included are identified in the bid format and proposed contract No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty days after the actual bid of submission, however no withdrawal will be allowed by the successful bidder. All bids should be clearly marked "Refuse Collection Bid, City of Pottsville". City Council will consider the bids at a meeting to be announced. The City of Pottsville is an affirmative action/equal opportunity organization.
