Main Street, Mt. Pleasant, MI 48858. The building was constructed in 1972 and houses fifteen essential offices of our County Government. The building has been completely evacuated of personnel and equipment and professional asbestos abatement activities are underway. The abatement activities are being performed by Quality Environmental Services of Beaverton, Michigan and are contracted to be completed by March 15, 2024. The building has approximately 26,638 square feet of space throughout its three floors. The abatement contractor will perform abatement activities floor by floor, beginning with the third floor, second, then first. The floors will be available for rebuilding as they are abated, if rebuilding activities are ready to occur.
