The City of Upland has a need for on-call services and is soliciting bids from qualified contractors for "On-call Signage and Striping Installation". The successful bidder will be awarded a contract with an annual "not to exceed amount" of $50,000 and established prices for each type of installation (please refer to details within Exhibit "B", Schedule of Services for this project). Contractor will be paid a minimum of $2500 for each Task Order. From time to time (approximately once every 1-3 months), the City will send the Contractor a
set of "Installation Drawings" containing diagrams and detailed descriptions of items to be
installed or modified at several locations. Installation Drawings will also contain a "work order
number" for reference. The contractor will then be expected to respond within two (2) working
days and provide their cost and availability. The Work will then be scheduled by mutual
agreement and coordinated with the inspector be completed within the time agreed upon for
each specific item of work. Failure to promptly respond or to complete the work in a timely
manner shall give cause for termination of this agreement per the terms of the contract. The contract duration shall be for the remaining Fiscal Year 2023/24 (ending on June 30, 2024)
upon award as well as for FY 2024/25 and FY 2025/26 (July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2026). The
contract may be renewed with mutual agreement for two additional one-year extensions, as
described in the contract. Inquiries
