As of May 9, 2025, this firm has been selected for this project. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Scope of Services The City of Richmond is requesting proposals from qualified wastewater engineering consultants to assist in the development of standards for Sewage Holding Tanks intended for Single Family homes. The purpose of this endeavor is to establish clear and standardized regulations, design requirements, evaluation criteria, approval requirements (e.g. noticing of neighbors), and a structured fee system for the installation and oversight of such facilities. This request for proposal (RFP) describes the project, the required scope of services, the consultant selection process, and the minimum information that must be included in the proposal. Failure to submit information in accordance with the RFP requirements and procedures may be cause for disqualification. While the City has not set a strict deadline, the goal is to have these standards adopted by April or May of 2024.
