The project includes repairs to the exterior brick masonry façade and cast-in-place concrete sunshades at the southeast corner of Doan Hall. The masonry repairs include the replacement of the through-wall flashing at shelf angles/lintels, brick masonry replacement at isolated distress, installation of brick masonry infill at former air conditioning units, installation of through-wall anchors, sawcutting of existing and new brick masonry expansion joints, joint sealant abatement and installation, masonry cleaning and the application of a clear water repellent. The concrete repairs include removal of the existing membrane coating, concrete patching, and application of a new liquid applied roof membrane. Sawcutting of Additional Brick Masonry Vertical Brick Masonry Expansion Joints and Installation of Joint Sealant 1) Prior to sawcutting new brick expansion joints, install new through-wall anchors. Brick Masonry Cleaning Application of Clear Water Repellent Concrete Repairs & Waterproofing Removal of Existing Waterproofing Membrane.
