The Texas Historical Commission (THC) issues this Invitation for Bid (IFB) to solicit bids from qualified firms to provide structural steel frame fabric 20ft x 40ft shade pavilion at Caddo Mounds Historic Site. Located at 1641 TX-21, Alto, Texas, 75925. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: A. General: Provide labor, materials, tools, machinery, equipment, appliances, fixtures, devices, and services necessary to construct a shade pavilion at the Caddo Mounds Historic Site. Visit the project site and meet with the site manager to review the project scope and existing conditions. B. Standards, Codes, and Permits: a. All work shall be performed in strict compliance with all applicable Local and State codes. b. Caddo Mounds Historic Site is a historic landmark. Treat all buildings and grounds with care. C. Work Included: The Work Includes the following systems, equipment, and services: a. Provide 40ft x 20ft shade pavilion structural steel 4 post frame. b. Provide drilled reinforced concrete piers footings for structural steel pavilion frame. c. Provide hip shaped HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) shade fabric metal framed cover, w/sleeved edges, w/ high strength wire rope. d. Provide crushed granite finish ground surface located below shade structure, and at adjacent walkway, w/ bender board landscaping edging. Prepare ground surface to accommodate level crushed granite installation.
