The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids. WORK consists generally of insulating overlay of an existing metal roof with a single-ply membrane at Illini Bluffs Elementary School, located at 9611 S. Hanna City-Glasford Rd., Glasford, Illinois 61533. Not less than the prevailing rate of wages shall be paid to all laborers, workmen and mechanics performing work on this project, within the meaning of the Illinois Prevailing Wage. Every bid shall be accompanied by bid guarantee consisting of bid bond, certified check or cashier's check made payable to Illini Bluffs CUSD #327, in amount of ten percent (10%) of the Base Bid. Failure of bidder to submit bid bond, certified check or cashier's check in amount to cover proposals bid upon is cause for rejection of his bid. All bidders not previously prequalified in the past two years must be pre-qualified with the Owner. Pre-qualification information shall be submitted in duplicate on a properly executed AIA Document A305 Contractor's Qualification Statement, 2007 Edition and received for consideration at the office of Kenyon and Associates, Architects, 6824 N. Frostwood Parkway, Peoria, Illinois 61615, by the bid opening date. No bid shall be withdrawn for 60 days after opening of bids without consent of Owner. Work shall start May 28, 2024, and be substantially complete by August 2, 2024. The site of the work is Illini Bluffs Elementary School, 9611 S. Hanna City-Glasford Rd., Glasford, IL 61533 Submit all questions about the architectural drawings and specifications to the Architect. Interpretations or corrections will be issued as Addenda, The Architect and Owner will not be responsible for oral clarification. Questions received less than seventy-two hours before the bid opening cannot be answered.
