The intent of this solicitation is to select a successful Bidder (Contractor) for the pavilion replacement at Marydia Neighborhood Park located at: 2492 Tampa Avenue, Kissimmee, Florida 34744. This project is funded by a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). The pre-fabricated pavilion size would be 14' by 24' all metal construction. The structure is to be assembled on site. The slab will be dictated by the engineer's specifications/local code. Structure and slab must meet or exceed local building code. Question End Date 1/3/2024 12:00 PM Supply, delivery and installation of metal pavilion with concrete slab to replace demolished pavilion. Bid pricing to include: (a) engineered drawings, surveys, etcetera needed; (b) Obtain the necessary permits; (c) Removal and disposal of the existing slab; The old pavilion has already been removed. (d) Pour new slab and tie into the existing sidewalk. The slab thickness will be dictated by the manufacturer and superseded by local building code with a minimum of 4" thickness; (e) Supply, deliver and install the new pavilion per manufacturers specifications; (f) New Pavilion to match existing structures. Color: Green Roof, Tan or light brown Poles. Bidder to provide color samples with their proposal, and; (g) Replace sod with same type of sod, where needed. Bid and or Performance Bond: A Bid/Performance Bond is not required for this project. MWBE and SDVBE Participation Programs: The Osceola County Board of County Commissioners has established a Minority and Woman-owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) Program with a combined 25% participation goal for LSBE and MWBE contractors and subcontractors. The purpose of this program is to promote and encourage the participation of MWBE as Contractor or Subcontractor on County awards.
