Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a transportation facility in Buffalo, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; for outdoor lighting for a transportation facility; and for paving for a transportation facility.

The project work provides for the rehabilitation and reconstruction of 4,135 linear feet of Runway 5-23 between the Runway 5 end and Taxiway D; Runway 5-end blast pad; runway shoulders, and connector Taxiways A2, A3, A4, E, and M; total replacement of the inpavement runway centerline and Touch Down Zone (TDZ) lights with new LED inpavement lights; total replacement of runway edge lights with new LED High Intensity Runway edge lights; removal and replacement of non-standard size 2 airfield guidance signs with new size 3 LED lighted signs, renaming all the connecting taxiways; and installation of new Runway Guard Lights (RGL's) on the Runway 5-end; installed in conformance with current FAA recommended standards. Work shall proceed in strict accordance with these documents and the FAA Construction Safety and Phasing Plan completed for the project work. The Runway 5-23 pavement rehabilitation requires the removal of existing asphalt pavement overlay on concrete pavement, removal of existing concrete pavements, full depth asphalt pavement construction, variable depth asphalt pavement overlays, embankment and site grading work outside of the pavement limits, joint and crack repair, storm drainage work, installation of pavement underdrain systems, installation of new runway and taxiway pavement markings, and runway pavement grooving. Concurrent with the pavement rehabilitation and reconstruction, associated project electrical work will include, installation of new inpavement LED centerline and LED Touch Down Zone (TDZ) lighting, new LED high intensity runway edge lights, new runway and taxiway guidance signs, installation of new LED Runway Guard Lights (RGL's), installation of new inpavement LED taxiway centerline lights on the connector taxiways, installation of new LED taxiway edge lighting on the stub taxiways, and rerouting of runway sign and edge lighting circuits necessary to conform with current standards. The NFTA reserves the right to waive irregularities, to reject any or all bids and to extend the bidding period. Bid security must accompany each bid and must be in an amount not less than ten percent of the total bid price if the base bid exceeds $50,000.00.
