Bowling Lane Drainage and Roadway Improvements The Town of Westerly (Town) is seeking sealed Bids for the Bowling Lane Drainage and Roadway Improvements Project. This project includes the furnishing and installation of approximately 3,500 linear feet of new water main, services to provide water to buildings and hydrants, various appurtenant work, the removal and disposal of an existing stone culvert, construction of a new stormwater collection and conveyance system, new culvert crossing, full-depth reclamation and installation of pavement, and the replacement of curbing and sidewalk on Bowling Lane in Westerly, RI. Bid Security in the form identified within the Instruction to Bidders, and in the amount of five (5) percent of the total Bid amount, must accompany each bid. The successful Bidder must furnish a Performance and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, in the specific formats as attached herein, both for the full value of the Bid Price, along with all required insurance certificates, within ten (10) calendar days after the award date in order to execute an Agreement. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid within Ninety (90) days following the closing time for receipt of Bids. Time of completion is set at 382 days following the Notice to Proceed to complete all work.
