The County of Santa Cruz ("County") invites sealed proposals from fully licensed, insured, bonded, certified CONTRACTORS to furnish all labor, tools, equipment, and incidentals required to provide Job Order Contracting Services. Established in 1850 as one of the state's original 27 counties, the County of Santa Cruz was originally called Branciforte. The name was later changed to Santa Cruz, which is "holy cross" in Spanish. The County of Santa Cruz geographically is the second smallest county within the State of California, yet it has one of the largest unincorporated area populations. The 2020 estimated population for the County of Santa Cruz by the U.S. Census Bureau was 270,861. The County encompasses an urban service area of 440 square miles. CONTRACT OVERVIEW: The County intends to award up to two (2) Job Order Contracts for Roofing Construction Services. JOCR-001 and JOCR-002 The Term of the Contract is one (1) year. All Job Orders issued during any term of this Contract shall be valid and in effect notwithstanding that the Detailed Scope of Work may be performed, payments may be made, and the guarantee period may continue, after such period has expired. All terms and conditions of the Contract apply to each Job Order. The Minimum Contract Value per Respondent is $25,000. The Contractor is guaranteed to receive the opportunity to perform Job Orders totaling at least $25,000. The Maximum Contract Value for each Contract is $5,797,725. The County reserves the right to increase the Maximum Contract Value to the State Maximum allowed by Public Contract Code. The Contractor may be issued Job Orders up to the Maximum Contract Value. To formalize, Proposer must submit questions in writing to the Buyer following the Pre-Proposal Web Conference. The Buyer will disseminate written questions and answers in the form of an addendum Public Opening of Proposals There will be no in-person Bid Opening for this RFP.
