The City of Conway is seeking statements of qualifications and performance data from prospective consulting firms to provide environmental engineering and support services for the City of Conway's Class 1 Sanitary Landfill (Permit No. 0252-S1-R1) pursuant to State of Arkansas Procurement Laws and Rules, Subchapter 8, Procurement of Professional Services, paragraph R1:19-11-802. The landfill is situated on 630 acres with a permitted disposal area of 93 acres. The permitted life of the landfill is estimated at 47 years and currently takes in around 250 tons of solid waste per day.
