Renovation of a military facility in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
Project #: WWYK220086 Work Order/Task #: 25701 The work to be performed under the terms of this Order consists of furnishing all materials, labor, plant, tools, transportation, equipment, testing services, quality control and incidentals required construct a cafeteria designed to seat and serve 200-300 personnel as stipulated in the CE and AFSVA Cafeteria Design Guides. The facility will include a full-service kitchen with all required utilities and real property equipment to include exhaust hoods for ovens and serving line grills and grease traps. Serving lines will include both hot and cold wells with appropriate drainage. The completed project shall infill the current open assembly area with kitchen; storage; electrical, mechanical and Janitor rooms; manager's office; convenience store; and café seating area. The completed project shall preserve the integrity of the northeast wall area that serves as a secure area boundary. The completed project shall utilize neighboring hallway restrooms in support of the café. The project involves high level collaboration with the Force Support Squadron's (FSS) selected kitchen equipment vendor, Restaurant Equipment World (REW), to ensure seamless equipment integration into the space. Small updates to a sidewalk to allow hand-truck supply movement are the only exterior changes. The project is located in Bldg. 9001 at Tinker Air Force Base (AFB), Oklahoma.
