Major items of work include Approximately: Base Bid 12 Full Depth Reclamation Base with 2 Asphalt Surface 6100 cubic yards of Unclassified Excavation, 7,000 tons of HMA Commercial Grade (Class A)(2), 10,000 CY of Rock Shoulder, 45,700 lineal feet of 4 White Pavement Marking, 14,200 lineal feet of 4 Yellow Pavement Marking, RCP pipe in 24, 30, 36 and 48, Traffic Control Items, and other appurtenances. Alternate 1 - 3" Asphalt Surface: All quantities are the same as Base Bid except an additional 2,100 cubic yards of Unclassified Excavation and an additional 3,600 tons of HMA - Commercial Grade (Class A)(3"). Alternate 2 - 2" Mill & Overlay: 2,350 square yards of Milling and 300 tons of HMA - Commercial Grade (Class A)(2"). Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the bid shall accompany each bid in accordance with Instructions to Bidders. Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities or to reject any or all bids. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 30 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
