Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in East Longmeadow, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The work consists of installation of cement concrete sidewalks, granite curbing, hot mix asphalt patching and curb repairs, stump removal, lawn repairs, and protection of existing features. Question Deadline 01/05/2024 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents shall be submitted in writing to the Engineer via the Tighe & Bond website for bidding document distribution Prospective bidders must be registered users of the web site to submit questions regarding the project. In order to receive consideration, questions must be received by Engineer at least five days prior to the date fixed for the opening of Bids. A bid deposit shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. All Bids for this project are subject to the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30, Section 39M as amended. Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the Commissioner of Department of Workforce Development under the provision of the Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Section 26 to 27D, as amended, apply to this project. It is the responsibility of the Contractor, before Bid opening, to request if necessary, any additional information on Minimum Wage Rates for those trades people who may be employed for the proposed Work under this Contract.
