FM 1518 Utility Relocations The work shall consist of the following: Abandoning of approximately 1,570 LF of existing wastewater line and removal of 646 LF of existing wastewater line, installing approximately 1,631 LF of 18"-30" gravity wastewater lines and appurtenances; 2,218 LF of 3"-12" water lines and appurtenances; 380 LF of bore encasement underneath a driveway and creek crossing, relocation of a CPS Energy power pole, removal and replacement of existing asphalt, removal and replacement of existing curb and gutter, excavation and embankment; erosion and sedimentation control and replacement/repair of irrigation lines, trees and shrubs A Bid Bond, Cashier's Check, or Certified Check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid must accompany each bid in accordance with instructions to bidders. Performance and Payment Bonds will be required as stated in the Contract Documents. The prices and terms of the bid must be made on the forms included in the Contract Documents. The Owner may, on its own initiative, issue Addenda before the Bid opening and, if necessary, delay the Bid opening to ensure that bidders have had sufficient time to consider the Addenda. A Bid which, in the opinion of the Owner, deviates significantly from the Contract Documents, and which has not been clarified through a written Addendum prior to Bid submittal deadline, shall be considered an exception to the Contract Documents and grounds for the Bid to be rejected.
