Remodeling of a golf course in Nampa, Idaho. Completed plans call for the remodel of a 4,745-square-foot golf course.
As of February 21, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. It is the intent of these documents to describe the work required to complete this project in sufficient detail to secure comparable bids. All parts of work not specifically mentioned which are necessary in order to provide a complete installation shall be included in the bid and shall conform to all Local, State and Federal requirements. Bid costs will be evaluated on the base bid only. Owner will evaluate bid alternate costs in order of priority at the discretion of the Owner. Any bid received by Nampa City may not be withdrawn after the time set for the opening of bids. Before a contract will be awarded for work contemplated herein, the OWNER will conduct such investigation as is necessary to determine the performance record and ability of the apparent low bidder to perform the size and type of work specified under this Contract. Upon request, the bidder shall submit information deemed necessary by the OWNER to evaluate the bidder's qualifications. Bids must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of either a bid bond (penal sum form), certified check, or cashier's check in the amount of 5% of the amount of the bid proposal, including any add alternates, is required. Said bid security shall be forfeited to the City of Nampa should the successful bidder fail to enter into contract in accordance with their proposal as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. Performance Bond and Payment Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount will be required within three (3) days after signing the Agreement Between Owner and Contractor. These bonds shall be furnished and paid for by the Contractor and shall remain in full force one (1) year after the date of substantial completion. All Contractors submitting bids are required to have a valid Idaho Public Works Contractors License and to include the license number on the Bid Form. The City of Nampa reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive any nonmaterial irregularities in the bids received, and to accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the best interest of the City of Nampa. Any questions concerning the interpretation of the bidding documents, the drawings, specifications or other Contract Documents or otherwise concerning the bidding procedures of the work to be performed in relation to the New Interior Remodel for the Centennial Golf Course Clubhouse shall be addressed and directed to the Architect: JGT Architecture, Jerrod Wallgren, jwallgren@jgtarchitecture.com, 208.463.9295.
