Site work for a water / sewer project in Winchendon, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The work consists of replacing existing 10-inch cast iron water main with approximately 950 linear feet of new 12-inch ductile iron water main on Upper Central Street in Winchendon, MA from Maple Street to Jackson Street. The work also includes the installation of valves and hydrants, service reconnections, side street reconnections, surface restoration, and abandonment of the existing water main. The work includes alternates for swapping services, hydrants, and side street connections from the existing 6-inch water main to the existing 12-inch water main from Jackson Avenue to Willoughby Avenue. Question Deadline 08/21/2024 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents shall be submitted in writing to the Engineer via the Tighe & Bond website Online. n order to receive consideration, questions must be received by Engineer at least five days prior to the date fixed for the opening of Bids. A bid deposit of 5% shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. This Contract will be required to meet Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program requirements including the Six Good Faith Efforts and Minority and Womens Business Enterprise (MBE/WBE) subcontracting reporting, per EPA Community Grant funding requirements.
