Renovation of a municipal facility in El Monte, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Project involves the preparation of the existing roof system of the City Hall West Building so that a new Thermoplastic PVC/TPA sheet roofing system may be installed over the existing roofing. As further detailed in the Scope of Work, this Project includes the removal of the existing one (1) layer of flat roofing. Removed roofs with wood decks will be covered with mechanically fastened Thermoplastic PVC/TPA roofing system, and those roofs with concrete decks will be covered by a fleece backed Thermoplastic PVC/TPA roofing system adhered in cold adhesive. Approximately 29,359 square feet of new roofing is to be installed The Project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, necessary tools and machinery, supervision and support, demolition and hauling of debris required for the roofing project, including but not limited to the following tasks: Completion of Work: All work shall be completed within 60 working days from the date designated on the Notice to Proceed Question Deadline 03/19/2024 at 4:00 PM PT Project-specific questions must be made in writing and sent to Public Works Management Analyst Frank Drevdahl at fdrevdahl@elmonteca.gov. If appropriate, the City will post responses to bidder questions received at the website.
