The Baltimore Metropolitan Council (BMC) is soliciting proposals from a qualified and experienced consultant, or consultant team, to provide professional services for Comprehensive Climate Action Plan Preparation and Public Outreach for the Baltimore Region. Seven local jurisdictions of the Baltimore-Columbia-Towson Metropolitan Statistical Area and BMC have come together in an effort to develop a shared plan for moving the region forward in addressing harmful greenhouse gas emissions. This shared effort will consist of the following: - A Priority Climate Action Plan (PCAP) due March 1, 2024 A Status Report, due at the close of the four-year grant period. A Steering Committee made up of local jurisdiction representatives and BMC are responsible for directing the work and efforts for development of the three key deliverables. The successful team will prepare the first two deliverables, and the Steering Committee will prepare the Status Report. Technical assistance will be provided by ICLEI-Local Governments for Sustainability. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
