The two "2007" modular classrooms as noted on drawings is removed from the demolition scope and not part of this contract scope of work and is the responsibility of the Parkland School Division. This will allow the Parkland School Division (PSD) to utilize and subsequently relocate the two modular classrooms in 2024 to a new location. To ensure the safety of the interior of the two classrooms, PSD should block off the corridor connecting the two "2007" modular classrooms with the rest of the school. Additionally, the exterior stairs leading to the two modular classrooms as well as the landing pad will be preserved for PSD ease of access. The gas pipe that is located on the top of the roof and any other services will be terminated (cut) at the point where the two "2007" modular classrooms meet the older modular classrooms. Contractor to make good any exposed or damaged siding / skirting to the "2007" modulars affected by the removal or demolition of the adjacent modulars. Contractor to insure the "2007" modulars to remain are in adequate condition to withstand general conditions and weather systems. Infrastructure and the future appointed demolition contractor will fence off the area during the demolition phase. However, once the demolition of the existing school and older modular classrooms is completed, the PSD's should fence off the remaining two modular classrooms, preventing access. Once the two modular classrooms are relocated in 2024, the PSD will be responsible for the reinstatement of the site.
