The City of Notus, desires to hire an Engineer to provide professional engineering services on an "on call as needed" basis with each task covered by a written task order signed by the Mayor and City Council and selected the Engineer. The work will be awarded to the firm, or individual, who, in the sole opinion of the City of Notus, is best qualified and equipped to perform the work in the best interest of the City. The City of Notus may request information concerning a person's or firm's rates, overhead and multipliers, if any; however, such information shall not be used by the City of Notus for the purpose of ranking in order of preference of the submissions. The City may, at its own discretion, accept such submissions as it deems to be in the best public interest and in furtherance of the goals and objectives of the City of Notus and applicable law, or it may proceed with further selection processes, or it may reject any and all submissions. The City of Notus also reserves the right to waive any informalities. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
