These furniture specifications pertain to libraries in four schools, Freedom High School, John Champe High School, the new Henrietta Lacks Elementary and the new Watson Mountain Middle School. Freedom High School and John Champe High School will be relocating to a new space within the existing buildings--specifically, the front office area and this is slated to happen in Fall of 2024. The Henrietta Lacks Elementary library, catering to K-2 students, and the Watson Mountain Middle School library, serving students in grades 6 to 8 will open in Fall of 2024. The furniture needs to be delivered and installed before the schools open in August 2024. The initial period of the contract will be March 1, 2024 through February 28, 2025.
Question Cuttoff Date & Time 12/21/2023 02:00:00 PM (ET) The right is reserved to award the bid to the maximum benefit of LCPS. Award may be made to multiple bidders as deemed necessary to fulfill the anticipated requirements of LCPS.
LCPS reserves the right to award alternative to brand and size that benefits LCPS.
LCPS reserves the right to reject any and all bids in whole or in part, to waive technical defects, irregularities, and omissions if in its judgment the best interest of Loudoun County Public Schools will be served.
LCPS reserves the right not to award an individual item.
LCPS reserves the right to award the bid in total, by item, or by group of related items. INSURANCE: Contractor shall provide such insurance according to the insurance requirements set forth above, which shall also include a requirement to provide a certificate of insurance and list Loudoun County School Board doing business as Loudoun County Public Schools as an additional insured in connection with any policy. Such policy shall remain in force throughout the entire duration of the contract awarded pursuant to this IFB.
