Rialto Unified School District ("District") is seeking sealed bids from qualified, experienced, and licensed contractors for construction of the following public project ("Project"): Playground Pour-In-Place Repairs. Scope of Services The Work consists of any and all labor, materials, goods, supplies, equipment, tools, utilities, temporary facilities, transportation, delivery services, and other services and things of any nature whatsoever as are expressly and impliedly necessary to timely and satisfactorily complete the Project: (i) in strict accordance with the Contract Documents; and (ii) not later than the Required Completion Date specified in the Master Schedule. The Work consists generally of the following: The contractor shall review the site playground conditions, take measurements during the site mandatory job walk, and repair the Pour-In-Place surfacing at each site playground as needed. The contractor is responsible for fencing the playground areas during repairs. As described in the Instructions For Bidders, each contractor (including subcontractors) must be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations ("DIR") in accordance with Labor Code Section 1725.5, and bidders must provide evidence of registration for themselves and their subcontractors. Each worker on the Project must be paid not less than the applicable prevailing rates of per-diem wages in the locality in which the Work is to be performed for each craft or type of worker needed to execute the Contract ("Prevailing Wages"). A copy of the applicable rates of Prevailing Wages is on file and available for review at the Place for Submitting Bids, and a copy will be posted at the Project Site. The Project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the DIR. The successful bidder will be required to post all job-site notices required by DIR regulations and other applicable law.
