Site work and paving for a road / highway in Ottawa, Ontario. Design plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Widening of Bank Street north of Arena Place to Orville Kemp, including the Bank and Leitrim Intersection Modifications. Complete the preliminary and detailed design for the replacement of the existing watermains within the limits as follows: The existing 400mm DI watermain along Bank Street within the limits of the roadway widening and at the Bank-Leitrim intersection; existing 305mm watermain on the west side of Bank; existing 203mm watermain to 550m east of Bank; Relocate the side street watermain on Orville Kemp far enough back to clear the Bank Street ROW corridor; Identify property requirements for the project, preparation of a preliminary and final property plan. TIMELINE: Preliminary design is complete. Detailed design to begin shortly. A public information session – open house is scheduled for November 17, 2025. Construction timing has not been defined & will require additional funding approved by council. Further schedules may be confirmed late spring 2026.
