Site work and renovation of a civil project in Cochrane, Alberta. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
This Request for Qualifications is an invitation by the Town of Cochrane to prospective respondents to qualify for eligibility to provide River Heights Reservoir and Pump Station The work includes construction of a new in-ground concrete reservoir cell adjacent to the existing River Heights reservoir. The River Heights reservoir is located directly adjacent to the east of Highway 22 (Cowboy Trail) and immediately north of River Heights Drive. The reservoir services the entire area of South Cochrane. The existing reservoir was constructed in 2009 and the Town has now embarked on the expansion of the facility by constructing another reservoir cell adjacent to the existing cell. Preconstruction collaboration services Undertake a review of the design and specifications at 60%, 90%, and 100% design submission. Provide feedback to the design team on aspects of risks, cost, constructability, and procurement. Suggest alternative solutions to reduce cost, improve constructability, advance schedule, etc. Provide input into forecast cash flows for construction. Construction of a new in-ground concrete water storage reservoir... Clearing of site and stripping of topsoil Excavation of materials and haulage off site Concrete and water proofing works Installation of internal reservoir piping and various process valves Installation of chemical dosing system. Installation of mixing system to ensure proper water mixing and turnover as well as hydraulic balancing between the new and existing cells. Installation of new overflow manhole and water meter chamber. Installation of water mains and associated valves. Installation of permanent fencing around site. Removal and replacement of existing roads adjacent to the reservoir site. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
