The City of Seguin (City) is soliciting statements of qualifications (SOQ) from qualified firms for professional services to perform the necessary evaluation, design, and related functions required for development of plans and specifications for establishing a Quiet Zone per Federal Railroad Administration guidelines at 7 existing railroad crossings in the City of Seguin. The City of Seguin is issuing this request for qualifications (RFQ) to obtain qualified professional services related to perform the necessary notifications, evaluation, design, and related functions required for development of plans and specifications for improvements necessary for establishment of a railroad Quiet Zone for 7 existing at grade railroad crossings in the City. Preliminary meeting with staff; Diagnostic Review Team (DRT) Meeting; The design for proposed improvements to include Supplemental Safety Measures (SSMs); Notice of Intent (NOI) with design plans submitted to required agencies, as well as outlining the method of conducting such a project permitting; Oversee Complete Safety Improvement Construction, Inspection and Notice of Establishment (NOE) with application and as-built plans submitted to required agencies.
