Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Desoto, Texas. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a elderly care / assisted living facility; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The City of DeSoto (City) is seeking Statements of Qualifications to select a qualified Architectural Firm to meet the City's need in planning, designing, and construction related to renovations to the DeSoto Senior Activity Center located at 204 Lion St. The project includes installation of new sidewalks around the exterior of the building and renovations and ADA upgrades to two restrooms in the facility. This project will utilize Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) federal funds and any contracts for work performed on this project are subject to the additional federal requirements found in Attachment K. This RFQ may also be utilized to select a qualifying firm for future unidentified City CDBG funded projects requiring architectural and design services. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. Deadline for Questions------- December 26, 2023 The City reserves the right to negotiate all elements that comprise the successful Contractor's response to ensure that the best possible consideration is afforded to all concerned.
