The owner has selected a Design Builder. A timeline for construction has not yet been established. The City of Maricopa (City) seeks a qualified design firm or team (hereafter referred to as "design firm") with extensive design and construction administration experience with gymnasium and sports field projects. All qualified firms that are interested in providing these services are invited to submit their Statement of Qualifications (SOQ). All SOQ's must comply with the requirements specified in this Request for Statement of Qualifications (RSOQ). The City of Maricopa is planning a new Recreation Gym/Field House, Project # 40160. This project is anticipated to be 43,000 square feet to house an indoor full size soccer field, with the ability to convert to 3 basketball courts, 3 futsal fields, 8 wrestling mats, 9 pickleball courts and 3 volleyball courts. Also, men's and women's restroom/locker rooms, party/gathering room and necessary ancillary spaces to support these functions. The project will be located on City owned land at the Copper Sky Community Center/Park, 17985 N Greythorn Dr. This project is anticipated to be 43,000 square feet to house an indoor full size soccer field, with the ability to convert to 3 basketball courts, 3 futsal fields, 8 wrestling mats, 9 pickleball courts and 3 volleyball courts.
