Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 P.M, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Bidding Documents also may be examined at Shellman City Hall; during the City regular business hours. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The City of Shellman reserves the right to reject any or all bids including without limitation the rights to reject any or all nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced or conditional Bids; and to make an award in the best interest of the City of Shellman. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. The Project consists of replacement of existing water meters with new AMR water meters, more specifically provide and install +/- 400 - 5/8" x 3/4" AMR water meters, +/- 5 - 1" AMR water meters, +/- 5 - 2" AMR water meters, +/- 400 backflow preventers, furnishing meter reading device and associated software.
