This project consists of removing all existing landscape materials, including stumps and roots, grass and mulch to comply with the landscape plan, installing new plant materials, grass and mulch to comply with the landscape plan. Work shall include furnishing all labor, material, and equipment required for the project. The successful Bidder shall furnish a Contract Performance Bond equal to one hundred ten percent (110%) of the contract price, with the terms and surety to be approved by the City of Kennesaw and furnish satisfactory proof of carriage of the insurance required. This is a Lump Sum Bid, the Bidder is solely responsible for determining all quantities, means and methods for the work. The contract sum will only increase or decrease by a change in the project scope and change order approved by the City prior to the work being done. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid within one hundred twenty (120) days after the actual date of the opening. The successful bidder will be notified by the City of acceptance of the bid. The successful bidder must submit an executed CONTRACT and Certificate of Insurance before a Notice to Proceed can be issued. Upon receipt of the Notice to Proceed, the successful bidder shall begin work with the adequate force and equipment on the date specified. The project must be completed within 60 days of Notice to Proceed. The City has the right to reject any and all proposals, and the right to waive any informalities or technicalities.
