Question Deadline 12/20/2023 at 2:00 PM ET The Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia by and on behalf of Kennesaw State University, is seeking Statements of Qualifications from firms interested in providing Task Order Contractor Services for General Contractor ( CM at Risk, and /or Design-Build) for certain construction projects at Kennesaw State University. This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) seeks to identify qualified potential providers of the above-mentioned services. KSU will issue about six (6) separate Task Order Contracts. The scope of services may vary from project to project. Projects may consist of, but may not be limited to, certain renovations and related building repair and maintenance work for the various facilities at KSU. Questions relating to the RFQ must be submitted in writing via email by 2:00 PM, 12-20-2023 and will be answered by 01-04-2024. Restrictions on Communicating with Staff: Firms are not allowed to communicate for any reason with any State staff except through the Issuing Officer named herein or Gowri Pillai. The Task Order Contractor will provide cost estimates and cost evaluation, value engineering recommendations, design analysis and/or design services, constructability reviews, and technical input on methods of construction, materials, details, and subcontractor bidding packages. The Task Order Contractor shall also develop and maintain a master project schedule. During the execution of a Task Order Agreement, the Task Order Contractor will be responsible for the following things, without limitation: methods of construction safety programs general conditions prequalification of potential subcontractors performance of all work certification of work-in-place payment requests coordination and scheduling of all work of all construction contracts and miscellaneous contracts required for the completion of the project within the predetermined budget and schedule all close-out requirements The successful Task Order Contractor(s) will be offered a contract for Task Order Contractor Services, which will be valid for a term of one year. Prior to the expiration of the term, the Parties may extend this contract for an additional one-year period, upon the mutual written agreement of both parties, up to a maximum of four additional years. No actual work may be contracted between the Task Order Contractor and KSU unless a project-specific Task Order Agreement is issued by KSU, and mutually agreed upon and Executed.
