Purpose of Procurement Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated 50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Proposals (eRFP) is being issued to establish a contract(s) with one or more qualified suppliers who will provide carpet cleaning services to the Kennesaw State University (hereinafter, the State Entity) as further described in this eRFP. The Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia by and on behalf of Kennesaw State University (KSU) is seeking multiple suppliers to provide all labor, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to perform carpet cleaning services at both the Kennesaw and Marietta campuses University Housing Developments Project Scope and Objective Kennesaw State University Housing invites experienced, financially secure, and reliable companies to submit bids for residential carpet cleaning services at the multiple University Housing Developments across both the Kennesaw and Marietta campuses. Contractor(s) shall be available to perform these services at the times requested by the University, to include Saturdays, Sundays, Holidays, and during an emergency. Contractor(s) shall be responsible for cleaning all types of carpet materials in different sizes on request from the University. Optional services may be requested, such as upholstery cleaning, LVT cleaning, pet odor treatment, and mold treatment, if available. It is the intent of KSU to award multiple contracts for the initial term until the end of the State's fiscal year 2025 with four (4) one (1) year option(s) to renew, which options shall be exercisable at the sole discretion of the State Entity. The State's fiscal year is from July 1st through June 30th. Other departments on campus may use this contract, although there is no guarantee of additional work. It is the intent of KSU to award multiple contracts for the initial term until the end of the States fiscal year 2025 with four (4) one (1) year option(s) to renew, which options shall be exercisable at the sole discretion of the State Entity. The States fiscal year is from July 1st through June 30th.KSU contemplates award of a contract(s) resulting from the eRFP to the responsive and responsible supplier(s), with the overall highest combined (technical and cost) score. KSU reserves the right to make a single award, multiple awards, or no award, if these options are in the best interest of KSU.
