Purpose of Procurement Purpose of Procurement Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated 50-5-50 et seq.), the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia by and on behalf of Kennesaw State University (KSU) is seeking to establish a contract(s) with a qualified supplier(s)/contactor(s) who provide Fire Sprinkler System Inspections, Testing, Maintenance and Repair Services to Kennesaw State University (hereinafter, State Entity or KSU) as further described in this eRFP. Objective Contractor is expected to perform inspections, testing, maintenance and repair services to Water-based Fire Suppression Systems (Fire Sprinklers System) and associated component; Fire Pumps; Stand pipes; and Fire Hydrants, per NFPA requirement, on KSUs facilities on Kennesaw and Marietta Campuses. Contractor to provide all services under the resultant contract in accordance with the Georgia Fire Code, applicable National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards, manufacturers recommendations, and other requirements, regulations, codes, ordinances and rulings applicable to the class of work/type of equipment further described in Contract Term The initial term of the resultant contract is for one (1) year from the execution date of the contract. KSU shall have four (4) one (1) year option(s) to renew, which options shall be exercised at the sole discretion of KSU.
