This bid includes but is not limited to, delivery, installation, excavation, and removal of a temporary excavation support system and dewatering facilities for installation of a 12' diameter fiberglass wetwell. Additive alternate would include installation of 6' diameter manhole as shown in drawings. Scope of work shall be all inclusive and include professional engineering design, shoring equipment including walers, vibration monitoring, dewatering equipment and excavation(cut and fill) of in-situ soil. Price shall include but not limited to, mobilization, demobilization, material, equipment and machinery and all other appurtenances and related work required to complete the Work Note: Evaluation of bid will be based on "TOTAL BASE BID AMOUNT". All bids shall include itemized unit cost for each identified item. BASE BID (Items 1) - TEMPORARY SHORING, DEWATERING, EXCAVATION AND WETWELL INSTALLATION for the Tractor Supply Pump Station Project: Price includes the complete installation of buried wetwell identified on drawings. This includes installation and removal of shoring and dewatering system to provide for the dry installation of County owned liftstation wetwell. Price shall be all-inclusive of sheeting, supports, pumps, well points headers, discharge piping and filtration bag. Contractor will be responsible for all associated removal, transport and disposal of soils within shored area. Excavated soils unable to be stored on site can be temporarily stored at 250 Roberts Blvd, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32547 during the period from excavation until backfill. Maintenance of traffic to FDOT requirements would be the responsibility of the Contractor. ADDITIVE ALTERNATE (Item 2) - INSTALLATION OF MANHOLE AND PIPING Price includes the complete setting of and installation of piping between these two structures within the shored area by Contractor if County elects to select this alternative. This would include connecting the piping between the two structures with manufacture approved stubout/connection . Please see drawings and bid item for more detail. BIDDER further acknowledges that award of contract will be based on the Lump Sum Base Bid amount and the acceptance or rejection of this ADDITIVE Item is at the sole discretion of the Owner. LAST DAY FOR QUESTIONS: December 13, 2023 @ 3:00 PM Upon notice of Award, the Seller shall furnish to Buyer a Supply Bond in an amount at least equal to 5% of the Contract Price, as security for the faithful and timely delivery of all procured items covered by this procurement agreement.
