Site work for a civil project in Lexington, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
Work is to include replacement of approximately 78 LF of 6-inch sewer force main, 140 LF of 8" Directional Drill and service reconnections. Questions regarding this project are to be addressed to Matt Steen with Nesbitt Engineering (859)865-4523, msteen@nei-ky.com. Bids will be received from a single prime Contractor per each contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis. A 5% bid bond is required. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 90 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Bid award will be made to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. Bidders will make positive efforts to use small, minority, women owned and disadvantaged businesses. DBE's are encouraged to bid. The owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids. Procurement will be subject to DOW Procurement Guidance including the Davis-Bacon Act. This contract is being funded by KYTC.
