Kent State University Twin Towers Center DW Heat Exchangers Replacement - The work includes, but is not limited to the replacement of two steam to domestic hot water heat exchangers serving Twin Towers Center, Beall Hall and McDowell Hall. Location- Kent State University Kent Campus, in Portage County Twin Towers Center 575 Senhauser Dr. Kent, Ohio 44240 The time for Substantial Completion of all Work is 136 consecutive days from the Notice to Proceed. The assumed Notice to Proceed Date is March 5, 2024. The assumed Substantial Completion Date is July 19, 2024. On-site activities may not start before May 15, 2024 and must be Substantially Complete by July 19, 2024. The project delivery method for this Project shall be General Contracting. This allows for 66 on-site construction days. The Contractor shall contract with EDGE-certified Business Enterprise(s) for not less than five percent (9%) of the Contract Sum. Project involves replacement of the (2) Twin Towers Center domestic hot water heat exchangers, as well as the main steam pressure reducing station.
