This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is issued by the City of Pittsburg, California ("City"). The purpose of this RFQ is to identify a qualified firm ("Firm") to negotiate a contract to provide management and related services for the Pittsburg Dream Courts ("Dream Courts"). The Dream Courts is a $9,000,000 cutting-edge indoor facility that is approximately 45,000 square feet, highlighted by five (5) state-of-the-art basketball/multi-purpose courts. The Dream Courts will be located at John Henry Johnson Park, 790 West Leland Road, Pittsburg, CA 94565. To be considered as a potential selection for the Dream Courts management and operation services, interested Firms shall submit one (1) electronic copy of their response to this RFQ including all items described under Submittal Requirements and Qualifications via our online portal. The City reserves the right to postpone selection for its own convenience, to withdraw this RFQ at any time, to modify the listing period, and to reject any and all submittals without indicating any reason for such rejection. As a function of the RFQ process, the City reserves the right to remedy technical errors in response to the RFQ. Construction commenced on September 26, 2023, with plans for completion by late Summer 2024. At the conclusion of the RFQ process described herein, the City will negotiate with the selected Firm to enter into a Consultant Services Agreement. The successful Firm shall be an independent contractor and shall furnish all management, supervision, labor, and any or all other services and may provide furniture, fixtures, and equipment required by the City, consistent with generally accepted operations of a first-class public facility. It is the City's desire to have an executed Consultant Services Agreement with the successful Firm by May 2024. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
