Saving Project...

Renovation of an educational facility in Chariton, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

The Project shall be known as the Columbus & Van Allen Elementary Window Replacement, Chariton Community School District, Chariton, Iowa This project includes but is not specifically limited to: Removal and replacement of windows throughout the two buildings. The new windows will be factory assembled thermally broken clear anodized aluminum framed windows. There will be a mix of fixed (glass and insulated metal panel) and operable awning openings Upon award of a contract, the successful Contractor will be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond equal to 100% of the awarded Contract amount, and within the time set forth within the Contract Documents. The Contractor shall also furnish a copy of its Certificate(s) of Insurance showing coverage is being provided consistent with that stated within the Project Manual. Bid Security in the amount of 5% of the bid in the form of a Bid Bond on form AIA A310, cashier's check, certified share draft or certified check drawn on an Iowa bank or credit union chartered under the laws of the United States shall accompany each bid in a separate, sealed envelope. Bid Security shall be payable to Chariton Community School District. Construction Timeline: Construction to begin after receipt of signed contract and after school is dismissed for the Summer 2024. Substantial Completion Date August 31, 2024 and Final Completion Date September 15, 2024. Location1215 Linden Ave / 1129 Ashland Ave, Chariton, IA 50049
